To create a MySQL database in cPanel, follow the instructions:

1. Go to the cPanel control panel.

2. In the "Databases" section, go to the "MySQL Databases" menu.

3. On the page that opens, in the "New database" field, enter the name_database_name and click the "Create database" button.

4. Then create a user and password for the database. In the "Add new user" fields, enter the username, password and its confirmation, and then click the "Create user" button.

If the specified password does not meet the security requirements, you can use the password generator.

5. After creating the user, you must give him access rights to the database. In the "Add user to database" menu, select the required user and database, click the "Add" button;

Specify the actions allowed for the user with the selected database and click "Make changes".

The given database_name, user_name and password must be specified in site scripts to connect to the database.

Use localhost as the server name.

Please note that the system automatically adds the login from the cPanel control panel to the names of users and databases.

That is, if your cPanel login is username, and you entered dbname in the New Database field, then the database name will be username_dbname. Similarly for the database username - username_dbusername.
