How to manage DKIM records in cPanel? Print

  • 0

A DKIM record or Domain Keys Identified Mail is a TXT record that adds digital cryptographic signatures to email messages, thus ensuring that the email comes from a trusted source and has not been altered or tampered with in transit between the sending and receiving servers.

You can easily enable DKIM in cPanel by going to the Email Deliverability section located in the Email section:

Click the Manage button next to the domain for which you want to set up a DKIM entry:

If you want to set the default DKIM entry, scroll down to the Recommended DKIM entry section and click the Set button:

And if you want to add custom DKIM records from your current email provider, you can do so by editing your TXT records.

Once DKIM is enabled or added, a new DKIM TXT record will appear in your DNS zone. Just wait for the changes to fully propagate, which can take up to 24 hours. Then you can continue!
